Just don't mention his ideological background!

Comicbook moron Ron Marz is at it again, this time with regards to the shooting of three Muslim students near the University of North Carolina:

Y'know what else the killer had?

A review of the Facebook page of the man charged in these murders, Craig Hicks, shows a consistent theme of anti-religion and progressive causes. Included in his many Facebook “likes” are the Huffington Post, Rachel Maddow, the Southern Poverty Law Center, Freedom from Religion Foundation, Bill Nye “The Science Guy,” Neil deGrasse Tyson, gay marriage groups, and a host of anti-conservative/Tea Party pages.

Gee -- why did Ron leave that info out, hmm?

Elsewhere, Kurt Busiek likewise never mentions the atheism and/or "progressive" causes of this madman ... but he sure rushed to retweet stuff like this!

As for the other 'bat writers? Pretty much silence. Perhaps because they were smart enough to realize this killing didn't fit their NarrativeTM.

It is not his beliefs at fault it is the gun, you know the thing that does nothing by itself. Under the view of Marz the only thing that matters is the gun, you know the same thing that was used to enable him to have the freedom to share his ignorance.

If I were a betting man, I'd put down big money that the laws in Denmark for owning weapons are a lot tougher than North Carolina. Somehow, the criminal responsible for the Copenhagen terror attacks still got a gun, killed two people over his "thou shall not insult Islam" beliefs, and wounded at least five cops. Weird, huh? It appears as though tough guns laws only punish law-abiding citizens who would use those firearms to protect themselves.

I hope anti-NRA Ron Marz never finds himself in a position where a gun would save his life, and if that does happen I hope a Second Amendment advocate is there to get him out of the jam.

That's where you and I differ, Douglas Ernst. I hope he does find himself in a position where a gun would save his life....and there isn't one for a mile!
