And we should care why?

Via Ace: The new House majority whip once attended a gathering of the group "Euro-American Unity" ... a product of David Duke (remember him?).

This was back in 2002 and the rep, Steve Scalise of Louisiana, said that he "was unaware at the time of the group's ideology and its association with racists and neo-Nazi activists."

Yeah, whatever. Maybe I'd be more concerned about this if the mainstream press was grilling our president on why he associates with a racist, anti-Semitic, homophobic race hustling punk like Al Sharpton.

UPDATE: Aaaaand, guess who didn't wait a second to jump on this?

Still waiting on your tweets about the number of times Sharpton has been to the White House, Ronnie.

Everyone knows that windbag only sees things the way he wants to see him. Marz and facts never seem to come together much like Marz and good writing. Marz will tweet 100 times on subjects that he has no facts on then when called out he never responds, unless you consider sending his twitter pals on you which also does not amount to much.

Wasn't that GOP rep a former member of the KKK who rose to the level of "Exalted Cyclops"? Oh, wait, that was the late Democratic senator Robert Byrd. My fault.

Jonah Goldberg's article seems apt here:
