Irony

Boss Obama: Comments by Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling were "racist."

Two weeks ago: Boss Obama speaks at Al Sharpton's National Action Network conference.

UPDATE: Clippers owner Sterling is a -- wait for it! -- Democrat. Not only that, he was scheduled to receive -- wait for it, again! -- a Lifetime Achievement Award from the ... NAACP.

UPDATE 2: As commenter dan notes in the comments, it seems Sterling is a registered Republican. However, he has (as dan also notes via his link) donated extensively to Democrats and Dem causes. Expect to hear the former a lot, now, in the MSM, natch.

That is ironic. Why am I not surprised that Sterling is a Democrat?

And I love how the Messiah feels the need to comment on things that really don't concern him.

Better update it again--he's a registered Republican. Confirmed on various sites via LA County records. NRO et al retracted. Not that it matters. He's an a-hole either way.

This headline/article says it all:

http://m.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/wp/2014/04/28/donald-sterling-is-a-republican-and-has-given-money-to-democrats-this-does-nothing-to-explain-his-history-of-discrimination/

My view is that while his comments were very idiotic and offensive, the media is blowing this out of proportion. Ed Trimnell probably says it best:

Plus, like I said, I love Obama feels the need to comment on these things. He never had anything to say about that WWII vet who was brutally beaten to death last summer in Seattle, for example.

I meant to say, "I love how Obama feels the need to comment on these things." He should keep his mouth shut, because these things don't concern him.

Posted by: Carl at April 29, 2014 02:11 PM

Sorry, as you should know by now this db is a registered republican.

Verrrrrrrry good, genius. dan only beat you to it by only four hours or so. Or did you miss the above comments? Especially that it doesn't matter (and will MORE now that we KNOW he's a registered GOPer)?

I've added an update.

Is "Nick Fury" one of the Delaware Liberal moonbats, Hube?

Posted by: Carl at April 29, 2014 03:56 PM

Not according to the IP. But Fury has left some snarky comments here and there over the years ...

Posted by: Hube at April 29, 2014 04:17 PM

I see... One gets the sense that he's trying to mock your love of comic books by calling himself Nick Fury and leaving snarky comments that lack substance.

Posted by: Carl at April 29, 2014 04:19 PM

Yeah, not much of substance. I welcome lefties or anyone who dissents ... just don't be a douche. Dan is a good guy (for the most part) :-) when he stops by.
