OK to assist the public, but only if it's P.C.

Via Ace: PBS's Gwen Ifill Tweeted the other day:

Apparently it isn't disturbing when the suspect is a white guy, though. And, after all, we certainly don't want the public to have any information that may assist in ID'ing criminals, right?

Ouch. My brain is hurting because she's projecting her stupidity out into the world with such force that it's causing sonic booms.

Maybe when a suspect isn't white we can just pause and make an "Mmmmph" sound with our lips tightened.

Let's just go one step further and not say whether they're male of female. After all, that would be sexist.
