Zimmerman update

This Daily Caller story sheds some new light -- doubts -- about George Zimmerman's claims of self defense for his shooting of Trayvon Martin.

How quickly things change. In the last 24 hours or so, both NBC and ABC have changed their tune about the wounds on the back of Zimmerman's head. After getting around to enhancing the grainy video from the police station, it turns out that he did sustain injuries, and both NBC and ABC have now conceded this point.

As for the funeral director, I don't really put a lot of weight into what he has to say. Who is he, and where do his loyalties lie? Not to mention, if Trayvon Martin was killed just moments after punching Zimmerman, would his hands even have an opportunity to begin bruising before he died. Once the body shuts down, the bruising mechanism would stop as well, I would think.
