"Um ... yeah!"

Who'da thought? Oakland protester admits OWSers assault police before police moved on them:

Need I say it? Imagine if these were Tea Partiers.

yeah, well what happens when a sizeable number of various police in various cities side with Occupy and also a significant fraction of returning vets whose jobs hopes are dashed and who have long since realized they were conned into fighting unnecessary wars do so?

Define "sizable." (Note spelling.) And define "significant fraction."

Meanwhile, while you're doing that, help clean up the awful mess you're making in these cities, uh?

I'm trying to figure out exactly what would be the appropriate response for police having bottles thrown at them, if not tear gas, flash bangs, and rubber bullets.

And it would appear to have been a good idea to put them in riot gear in the first place.

Indeed, Steve. I certainly ain't pro-police brutality, but WTF? Not to mention that Oakland has been governed by "progressives" since time immemorial.

"Until both left and right unite and turn against the Washington-Wall Street axis of oligarchy, American democracy will continue to die."

Revolutions are messy. Get over the tightly wound

Sorry, but bitching about reaping what you sow ain't getting you any sympathy.

Congress should be really bitchin.' Approval rate 9%. Occupy approval 42% And Congress is pretty well dressed, no excerement on the floor of the House.

Uh huh. How about a poll asking if people approve of the behavior of the OWSers? It's easy to sympathize with their goals.

Not to mention, it's a lot easier to get good ratings when the MSM is fawning all over you.
