Tupac Shakur, 15 years after his death: Tell us where you were when you heard the news #tupactribute

Yeesh. Hell, I used to think his name was "Too-PACK," not "Too-PAHK." Silly me.

Actually, I remember where I was and what I was doing when I first heard the news. I was at home, and a friend was visiting and had brought his compilation album called Machabelli or something like that. Of course that was some years after his actual murder, but that's the first time I'd heard of it, or for that matter, him. I did like the album though, it was the first time I'd heard rap songs that I actually liked. Oh, and I heard about Biggie Smalls being killed the same day.

The only thing I can remember about where I was and what I was doing was the time I was trying desperately to find a checkbook I thought I'd accidentally thrown away. Not quite ten minutes after I found it, the reports came over the news about-Balloon Boy.

Okay and I also remember where I was and what I was doing when Al Gore conceded the election for the second time, but I can't say, it might result in a perjury conviction.
