Hey ...

... did anyone else catch Newt Gingrich on Fox News Sunday yesterday? The dude has cheated on not one, but two wives, and his "reason" for that was ... he was "too dedicated to serving the country" and things "got out of hand." Or something like that.

Kudos to host Chris Wallace who asked him, "Isn't that kind of lame?" Yep. It is. Very much so.

Amazing how a brilliant guy like Gingrich can be ... so stupid.

It is amazing when a brilliant person says or does something stupid, but not so amazing when that person is a hypocritical idiot. If Newt is the best the GOP has to offer right now, they better pray that Mitt doesn't do or say anything on that level...

Frank: I suppose anyone who is unfaithful is a hypocrite; however, if you're implying he is because of the Clinton impeachment, I don't think that flies. The issue wasn't Clinton's infidelity; it was lying under oath about it.

Newt had his chance and he blew it. He did fine as Speaker and was effective at keeping the GOP in line as far as their agenda. He is unelectable as President. He'd be lucky to get a cabinet position. Either that or stick to history books and punditry.
