Not good

North Korea near completion of an EMP bomb. That's "Electro-Magnetic Pulse."

What's it mean? Read this, and be scared sh**less. I wrote about the novel One Second After previously here.

That's all well and good but he has no delivery vehicle. Efforts at third stage delivery have failed across the board. Second, an EM weapon is considered a WMD and any attack by the DPRK would result in a nuclear strike. Even Obama might find the stones to lob a nuke over there if they tried that.

The DPRK does not want war. they want to continue as they are. Their Order of Battle is oriented towards shock troops that would shell and then invade Seoul and sue for peace.

It's saber rattling and it means that Kim Jong Ill is now Kim Jong On His Last Legs. Be more concerned about transfer of power. His hier apparent is very young and doesn't have the support he needs to take control effectively.

Who cares if we nuke them after they EMP us? The devastating damage is done!

We wouldn't be able to nuke them if they hit us with an EMP. If it worked right it would take out all our communications, electronics-everything, really. The only chance of nuking would be from a nuclear sub, and I'm not even sure that would be possible without a viable connection to a home base. Or, if the EMP only partially took out everything.

If there's a danger they are close to something like this, we need to take them out. I mean, everything. There is no such thing as innocent people under this scenario, there is only people who have enabled their own slavery.

At the same time, I would be far more worried about Russia, for just one example, than I would NK.
