Public education strikes again! I just hope that sign was made by a unioneer and not a teacher. But, we all know that it probably was one of our public school democratic indoctrinators, oops, teacher.

Are you sure the sign isn't a subtle way to demonstrate how important education is? Also, I'm impressed with the protester who knows the distinction between "who's" and "whose."

However, I am having difficulty parsing the sign "Care about educators like they care about your child." I don't want to argue the "like/as" distinction, but I just don't understand the point. Is it:

* care about educators for 5 hours a day, 180 days a year

* care about educators because in twenty or thirty years they will fund your retirement

* care about educators in groups of thirty
