That's because now it's a Republican [former] governor -- Mike Huckabee -- who commuted the sentence of killer Maurice Clemmons. (See also here, among many other MSM stories.) I wonder if the MSM will have some of the usual talking heads on to proclaim the 24-7 coverage of this case is "subliminally racist" (see first link above), or some other such inanity, a la the Willie Horton coverage/politcal ad.

Hey, don't get me wrong -- Huckabee deserves ALL the crap that's being flung his way. WTF was he thinking?? Say "adiós" to your presidential aspirations, Mikey. Good riddance.
There's a reason we keep violent offenders locked up away from the rest of society, and it's not so they can be "rehabilitated."
