Maybe an "X" at the end would have sufficed

“Some troops unhappy about Obama pledge on gays” is a headline on Yahoo News regarding Obama’s planned repeal of the “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy on gays in the military.

Umm … check out the article author’s name.

That is like the recent NYTimes piece on drug abuse by an author whose last name was "Blow".

I'm not sure how I feel about the whole "don't ask-don't tell" thing. I'm still mulling it over in my mind, and waiting to see what proposals come out (heh).

I am all for gay rights and gay equality. As they say, some of my best friends...

But I also know alot of veterans, especially Viet Nam vets. And I'm thinking that in the mudpit that was Viet Nam, I'm not sure a single one of them would want to be waking up in a bunk next to Ru Paul.

Just sayin'.....
