Electing Obama won't change a blessed thing about race in the USA

So says Charles Olgetree, Obama’s main adviser on race issues:

Ogletree, Obama’s top advisor on race issues, explains that since Obama is “biracial,” his election won’t prove that racism has receded. White America won’t vote for blacks, Ogletree argues, and Obama’s election is possible only because he’s partly white.

So much for "bringing us all together," huh?

Jeremiah Wright told the Detroit Chapter of the NAACP that Brown vs. Board of Education hurt black children because they learn differently from white children. He got a standing ovation.

Race relations have changed a lot. As you've noticed one race will split its vote between the candidates pretty evenly, the other will go over 90% for their own race.
