The Messiah: China's infrastructure "vastly superior" to U.S.'s

Everybody’s watching what’s going on in Beijing right now with the Olympics. Think about the amount of money that China has spent on infrastructure. Their ports, their train systems, their airports are vastly the superior to us now, which means if you are a corporation deciding where to do business you’re starting to think, “Beijing looks like a pretty good option.”

Greg Pollowitz does a good job fisking The Messiah on this [yet another] inane statement; I'd add that it's pretty easy for a government to do what it wants anyways ... when it's an authoritarian dictatorship! (Yeah, like pollute the environment to friggin' hell!)

Hube, you are a fan of political correctness, from the perspective of the far right fringe of course.

Honest observers concur that China ran a very fine Olympics, in spite of our dislike for the ideology of the regime that put it all together. I know you have great difficulty in acknowledging that, as your ideology colors your objectivity.

Yes, of course, the Chinese have a serious pollution challenge, as we had ourselves. Consider Pittsburgh, an extreme example of a common problem in those days, our days of early development. Let us hope that the Chinese will give more attention to their problem, and that we will be ever more vigilant about our own as well, as in coal burning power plants, two of the worst right here in our own back yard!

If pointing out the defects of an authoritarian communist dictatorship that never should have been allowed to host an event such as the Olympics makes me "far right fringe," Perry, then your ideology must make you more moonbatty than the loopy Liz Allen.

Oh, and as you'd say -- nice evasion of the actual post's content!

I'm not surprised Obama would admire a communist regime. That is pretty much what he wants to bring to this country.

Oh, and Hube, keep up the good work with the Delaware Liberal crowd. They banned me for disrupting their echo chamber. Typical "reasoned discourse" of the far left.
