Obama's proposal of CHANGE requires sound judgement to determine which things should change, and which things should be kept, cherished and embraced. Unfortunately Obama and his left wing supporters want to throw out the baby with the dirty bath water. They have no appreciation of U.S. history, or the blood, sweat, and sacrifice it's taken to make America the greatest country in the world. They seem to believe that before you can create change, first you must discredit, or destroy everything that's come before. Obama relies on young voters apathy and ignorance of American history and tradition, which makes it easier for them to buy into CHANGE, without any sense of what kind of change is needed. Evidence of this, is Obama supporters embracing his disrespectful alteration of the Presidential seal. If Obama is elected President, America's history will be gradually revised, and I predict that America will become barely recognizable.

And this sort of commentary has never come up when any other politician has abused the Stars and Stripes in their campaign logos...

Now, I'm an Obama guy, and I agree that it's a bit over the top. I mean, "Vero Possumus" is pretty ridiculous, but it's simply an interesting piece of graphic design.

But the comment above mine is frankly insulting.

Have you ever talked to an Obama supporter? Have you ever wondered why we support him? I tell you that it has nothing to do with "throwing the baby out with the dirty bath water." We love America for what it is, what it has been, and most importantly what it will be in the years and decades to come. Both of our candidates this year respect and love America and its history. To fight for America is not the only way true test of patriotism.

As far as the "apathy" of young voters... it is not "apathy" that has sent thousands to Obama's rallies, and millions of donors to his campaign. It is the exact opposite. Whether you agree with him or not, Obama has inspired millions of new participants in our democratic process, millions of people who care enough about and understand the history of this country to get involved.

You may disagree with Obama. But your suggestions about his intentions and his supporters are ridiculous. Let's have an actual discussion of the direction this country wants to go, and who can take us there, not just partisan name calling and innuendo lobbing.

Just had to say my piece.

And on the pedestal these words appear:
"My name is Obamandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Nothing beside remains: round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare,
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

The MSM is in the tank for Obama so this arrogance is getting no traction there, when it should be a Dukakis in the tank moment that keeps on giving in this campaign. Would make a teriffic ad, with BHO entering the room , R & F being played on the PA system as the press corps all stands. Then a voice says " Hold it ! There is an election to be held. "
