Via the Newsbusters tip line (which goes out to many contributors, not just me):
Regarding Ann Coulter:
She's a nazi, an elitiest, and evil creature, not a human being and offers NOTHING positive or redeeming for this world. Cervical cancer would be a blessing on the planet.
Look, I don't like Ann Coulter either. I don't many folks on the Left, either. But to wish for them to contract something like cervical cancer, well, that person isn't a human being. And that's being nice.
I'm curious -- given the comment you got AND yesterday's Bill Maher comment about Fred Thompson, do you think the Right start yucking it up over Elizabeth Edwards' cancer?
After all, conservatives have been quite sympathetic and respectful over the disease -- to the point of letting her get away with comments that would have been attacked if made by a healthy spouse. Is she fair game now, since wishes of cancer and jokes about cancer seem fair game directed at Republicans/conservatives?
Posted by: Rhymes With Right at October 11, 2007 10:30 PMit is hard not to wish some calammity on her though, hate breeds hate.
Posted by: donviti at October 12, 2007 08:53 AMSo, IOW, you should logically expect such wishes upon the nuts at DE Liberal then, right?
Posted by: Hube at October 12, 2007 08:56 AMHube,
I'd never personally utter such words. No one deserves cancer. At the same time, it's easy to understand the frustration on the part of some, and the desire to match fire with fire, and not just roll over like liberals typically do. After all, Coulter's wished death on the staff of the New York Times, innocents in other nations, and others I'm sure.
Posted by: dan at October 12, 2007 09:01 AMdan: a brief perusal of lefty blogs indicates they hardly "roll over." In fact, recall the studies of blogs that showed lefty blogs crushed con blogs for visceral personal attacks and profanity?
Posted by: Hube at October 12, 2007 09:05 AMAnn Coulter is a complete heifer nutbag. Sure, I wouldn't wish cancer on her, but jeez, are you honestly shocked that people wish her ill?
Remember, this psycho bitch is the one who said "These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, revelling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzis. I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' death so much." about the 9/11 widows. Sorry, but it's insulting to me, as a Democrat, to even call her a Jackass.
Hell, given the other wacko crap she's spouted in her tenure as the Conservatives' Centerfold Girl, I'm surprised people haven't wished worse than cervical cancer on the dizzy bitch.
