That didn't take long

For the News Journal's "But On The Other Hand" blogs to cease operation, that is. Could it be that no one was reading -- or even cared what the editors had to say outside their regular columns -- especially since they didn't say anything all that different from what was in their columns?

The last entry was posted on August 8. Not a good sign.

Hube, sorry this comment isn't about your post.

I can only see 1.5 posts on your blog and have to scroll down through a huge blank space before they appear again and the rest of your Craig post is missing.

I don't seem to have this problem w/ other blogs.

I know that problem....IE7.0. COR's layout is apparently too sophisticated for the mighty Microsoft. In my case, I am too stubborn to uninstall 7.0 or change to another browser. What you will need to do is scroll down until you see the "ARCHIVES" section with the months linked (on the right hand side). Click the month corresponding to the post you want to read. That is exactly how I have been checking out COR ever since I went to 7.0.

Back on topic, I guess the Snooze Journal will be returning to casting a snooty eye to bloggers, all the while finding their headlines amongst them.

Thanks Smitty. I e-mailed Dana about precisely this (using IE 7.0) but I wasn't aware of how you read CoR. I usually recommend just getting Firefox -- it's a better browser and you get to stick it to Bill Gates, too! ;-)

you get to stick it to Bill Gates, too!

Did I say it was a legal copy?

Huh? What? Did I say that? Away with you demons! Be gone!

I'll tell you this, my 7.0 is having some serious resource-usage issues today. Maybe I should look outside for that manical router signal thief.
