Yeesh. I'll stick to Delaware beaches

Why? The endless, needless rules of New Jersey beaches. And not only that, you gotta friggin' pay to lay on your towel catching rays, as I learned a few years back when I hit Long Beach Island (where a couple of old college buddies had rented a place for the summer). A young girl actually comes around collecting cash for the "privilege" of hanging on the beach. Whoa.

Hube:
You know I have family that live on the bay side on LBI and when we visit, we rarely go to the beach. The hassled there are amazing. Gotta pay, just TRY to park and then there are all those NY Buttheads. I agree. Stick with the Delaware beaches if you must go.

Even they are so crowded that we usually head further south or to the mountains. Have a nice Memorial Day!
