Fulcher said whaaaaat??

In the little (unfortunately) I was able to catch of Brandywine School District Superintendent Jim Scanlon's appearance on WDEL's the "Rick and Gerry Show" yesterday, Gerry Fulcher asked -- I kid you not -- why couldn't Brandywine handle the size classrooms that he himself had once taught: over 60 kids in a class?

Is Fulcher really serious about this? If so, he needs to check himself into Delaware State Hospital pronto.

(By the way, Fulcher taught??)

We had 100 each in my first grade class in 1958. There were 200 kids in my grade and two teachers for the two classes.

By 8th grade, the school had expanded it teaching staff I guess, so my grade had 66 -67 kids in each of three classes. True story Hube.

I am not suggesting we go back to those days of course but I had some damn good teachers and learned a lot.

One has to wonder with all the bragging that Gerry does, Is there enough time for him to have done all that he said he has done? Did he do it effectively, or is that why he had so many jobs, one step away from being fired or charged with a crime? Like Body snatching in NYC. Or kicking a pervert in the groin to apply street justice.

To bad Gerry can not go back in time and bedevil his former self. And leave the rest of us alone.
