First it was Jason from Delaware Liberal and Dave Burris from First State Politics. Now it's round two: Hube from Colossus and Tom Noyes from Tommywonk.
Where and when? On Dace Blaskovitz's "Money & Politics in Delaware" every third Saturday on WILM 1450 AM radio at 10:30 am. (The show actually begins at 10:00, but Tom and I don't come on 'til the half hour mark, natch.)
Our first appearance is this Saturday, tomorrow. Tune in! 'Cause you know you have nothin' else better to do, right?
UPDATE (21 April at 11:04am): I was uncharacteristically a bit nervous this morning. Maybe too much coffee? At any rate, I hope I didn't sound like too much of a shlub ... I sure wish I could sound as good as Tom, that's for sure! He has a confident demeanor and terrific radio voice. Thanks once again to Dace Blaskovitz, the host, for having Tom and I on the air.
Shoot. I missed it. Anyway, good luck and have fun with it. Dace is a good guy so by the second show you feel like your talking in someone's living room (if you don't already).
Posted by: Jason Scott at April 18, 2007 07:49 PMHube, I thought you did well. You did your homework, and it came through loud and clear.
See you next month!
I think you both did well, being your first time and all. It was informative, interesting and the half hour just flew by.
I do believe a studio guest has the advantage over someone on the phone, though. Why? I don't really know, just my opinion after listening to talk radio for nearly 40 years now.
Posted by: Al at April 21, 2007 06:29 PMThanks for the kind words, Al. I know what you mean about being in studio vs. phone. I have the same perception when I listen to talk radio. However, I actually had my computer right in front of me with several [internet] windows open just chock full of info. That was pretty helpful. :-)
