You mean President Bush asked Senate Democrats for a nominee recommendation, as Clinton asked Trent Lott? (and was given Ginsburg's name)

Just goes to prove how much less partisan the 'pubs are in this realm, eh dan? IWO they realize that the pres. has the right to appoint whomever, and if they're qualified their politics really shouldn't matter.
