Blog madness

A round-up of interesting pickings in the blogosphere:

  • The place to go for news pertaining to Israel's withdrawal from Gaza is Soccer Dad.

  • The Gray Monk serves up a sobering warning to Britain -- and the whole West, too, for that matter.

  • Rosenblog details how one of guitarist Carlos Santana's assistants was "eased out" of the performer's inner circle -- because his consciousness was "calibrated" as too low by guru "Dr. Dan."

  • AJ Lynch notes how "Hardball" guest host Nora O'Donnell mentioned that "there was an Iraq war vet participating in [Cindy] Sheehan's protest" down in Crawford, TX. But who is it? Aidan Delgado -- a supposed conscientious objector who claimed (without back-up, of course) that "American soldiers in Delgado's unit smashed Coke bottles over the heads of Iraq civilians as the soldiers rode by in their convoys."

  • Speaking of Cindy Sheehan, check out this over at doubleplusgood infotainment.

  • Robbie makes the case against illegal immigration. Note: not for the sarcasm impaired.

  • Jon Ray has "an apt cartoon" by Pookie!

That Santana article is sadly hilarious.
